SSA Assam Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2020: Axom Sarba Siksha Abhiyan Mission (SSA) Government of Assam invites online applications from Assam TET qualified candidates for 3753 vacancy posts of Assistant Teachers at Lower Primary and Upper Primary School on contractual basis under the Assam Axom Sarba Siksha Abhiyan Mission. ✅ Age Limit:

✔️ Minimum 18 years and Maximum 40 years

✔️ For OBC / MOBC – Maximum Age 43 years

✔️ For SC / ST – Maximum Age 45 years

✔️ For Persons with Disability (PwD) – Maximum Age 50 years

✅ Scale of Pay: Pay Band II ₹ 5,200 – 20,200/- + Grade Pay for all above posts.

✔️ Assistant Teacher for Lower Primary School: 50% in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with LP TET and 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education from recognized institutes. (OR) Graduate degree from UGC recognized University with LP TET and 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education from recognized institutes. [5% relaxation of marks for SC/ ST(P)/ ST(H)/ OBC/ MOBC & Physically handicapped candidates]

✔️ Assistant Teacher for Upper Primary School: Graduate degree from the UGC recognized University and UP TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education).

✅ Selection Process: The selection on the basis of Assam TET Marks, HSSLC & Degree (B.Ed.) / Diploma (D.El.Ed.) Marks and Sports Achievement. Separate Merit list will be published for each district.

✅ How to Apply: Eligible Assam state residents shall apply online in SSA Assam website ssa.assam.gov.in from 10:00 AM of 27/09/2020 to midnight of 11/10/2020. No offline application will be received in the office of the Director of Elementary Education, Assam.
