South Western Railway Sports Quota Recruitment 2021: South Western Railway (SWR), Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Hubli Recruitment against Sports (Open Advertisement) Quota for the year 2020-21. Applications are invited from the Indian Citizens (Sports Persons Only) for filling up 21 Vacancies (Unreserved) posts against Zonal / Railway Sports Quota – Open Advertisement. The last date for submission of applications is 28th December 2020.

✅ Age Limit: 18 to 25 Years as on 1st January 2021.

✅ Pay Scale: Pay Band-I ₹ 5200-20200 + Grade Pay ₹ 1900/2000 (VI CPC) / Level 2/3 of VII CPC Pay Matrix.

✅ Minimum Educational Qualification: (From Recognized University / Institute / Board)

(1) Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination. Educational Qualification must be from Recognized Institutions. (OR)

(2) Matriculation Plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship/ ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT.

✅ Minimum Sports Norms:

(1) Represented the country in the International championships/ events either in World Cup (Junior/ Senior Category)/ World Championships (Junior/ Senior Category)/ Asian Games (Senior Category)/ Commonwealth Games (Senior Category). (OR)

(2) Obtained atleast 3rd position in Commonwealth Championships (Junior/Senior Category)/ Asian Championships/ Asia Cup (Junior/ Senior Category)/ South Asian Federations (SAF) Games (Senior Category)/ USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior Category). (OR)

(3) Obtained atleast 3rd position in Senior/ Youth/ Junior National Championships. (OR)

(4) Obtained atleast 3rd position in National Games organized under aegis of Indian Olympic Association. (OR)

(5) Obtained atleast 3rd position in All India Inter University Championship organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities. (OR)

(6) Obtained 1st position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category).

✅ Examination Fee: ₹ 500/- for General and OBC Category candidates. ₹ 250/- for SC / ST / Ex-Serviceman / PWD / Women / Minorities Economically Backward Classes. The examination fee should be paid in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) only, from any Post office drawn in favour of Asst. Personnel Officer/HQ, South Western Railway, Hubballi, payable at Hubballi. Candidates must write their name, full address in the space provided in the Indian Postal Order.

✅ Recruitment Process: The recruitment will be based on trials and assessment of sports achievements, Educational Qualification, General Intelligence/ Personality, etc. The candidates who are found fit in trials only will be considered for next stage. Medical Fit Test will be also conducted by the Railway Administration.
