About Recruitment :-

As We All Know HARYANA STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION has Recently invited Online applications for direct recruitment for 2978 posts of DHBVN, UHBVN & HVPNL mentioned under paragraph 2.1 through the URL address i.e adv112019.hrvssc.in/StaticPaees/HomePase.aspx from 10th July 2019 to 25th July 2019 till 11.59 P.M. The Application Submission Link is Re-activated on 27.01.2020 to 06.02.2020. Candidates can check the more details about recruitment from below link in important link area.

About Exam :-

The Examination either online (CBT) or OMR Based & the date, time and place of  examination will be as per the admit card. However, HSSC reserve the right to reschedule/Change the above schedule on administrative grounds or otherwise. applicants are advised- to regularly visit the website as no separate individual intimation shall be send.

Selection Process :-

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission will Complete the Assistant Lineman Recruitment based on this Selection Process :

  1. Written Exam
  2. Socioeconomic Criteria and Experience.

Written Exam

HSSC Assistant Lineman Exam Pattern :–

(i) The scheme of marks in respect of selection to the posts shall comprise of total 100 marks, as detailed below:

2. Socio-Economic Criteria and Experience 10

(ii) The 90 marks of written examination shall be divided into to parts comprising:-

  1. 75% weightage for General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Science, Computer, English, Hindi, and concerned or relevant subject, as applicable.
  2. 25% weightage for History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture, etc. of Haryana.

(iii) The 10 marks for socio-economic criteria and experience shall be allocated as follows:

a. if neither the applicant nor any person from among the applicant’s family viz father, mother, spouse, brother, and Son is, was or has been a regular employee in any Department/Board/Corporation/Company/Statutory Body/Commission/Authority of Government of Haryana or any other State Government or Government of India.
(5 marks)

b. if the applicant is:-

  1. a widow; or
  2. The first or the second child and his father had died before attaining the age of 42 years: or
  3. The first or the second child and his father had died before the applicant had attained the age of 15 years,”.

HSSC Assistant Lineman Syllabus :

Reasoning – It will include the question of both verbal and non-verbal type. Question will be asked from analogies, similarities and differences, problem-solving, relationship, arithmetical computation, and other analytical functions, Venn diagrams, relationship concepts and Ability to observe and distinguish patterns, etc.

Mathematics – The test of Arithmetical and Numerical abilities will cover Number Systems including questions on Simplification, Decimals, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs, etc.

Science – These tests are designed to test the knowledge and competencies for scientific methodology concepts, principles, techniques and physics, chemistry, life sciences (Biology), the earth/space sciences, technologies, etc.

English & Hindi – Synonyms, Antonyms, Spellings/ Detecting Mis-spelt words, Idioms & Phrases, One-word substitution, Improvement of Sentences, Active/Passive Voice of Verbs, Conversion into Direct/Indirect narration, Rearrangement, Comprehension Passage.

Socioeconomic Criteria and Experience

The 10 marks for socio-economic criteria and experience shall be allocated as follows:

a. if neither the applicant nor any person from among the applicant’s family viz father, mother, spouse, brother, and Son is, was or has been a regular employee in any Department/Board/Corporation/Company/Statutory Body/Commission/Authority of Government of Haryana or any other State Government or Government of India. (5 marks)

b. if the applicant is:-
(i) a widow; or
(ii) the first or the second child and his father had died before attaining the age of 42 years: or
(iii) the first or the second child and his father had died before the applicant had attained the age of 15 years,”. (5 marks)
c. If the applicant belongs to such a denotified tribe (Vimukt Jatis and Tapriwas Jatis) or Nomadic tribe of the State of Haryana which is neither a Scheduled Caste nor a Backward Class. (5 marks)
d. Experience:
One-half (=0.5) mark for each year or part thereof exceeding six months of experience, out of a maximum of sixteen years, on the same or a higher post in any Department/Board/Corporation/Company/Statutory Body/Commission/
Authority of Government of Haryana. No marks shall be awarded for any period of fewer than six months.
(A maximum of 8 marks)
Note:- No applicant shall be given more than 10 marks for socio-economic criteria and experience under any circumstances.
