OPSC Insurance Medical Officer Recruitment 2021: Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) invites online applications for recruitment to the post of Medical Officers (Assistant Surgeon) in Group A (Junior Branch) of the Odisha Medical and Health Services Cadre in SC and ST category under Health and Family Welfare Department. Eligible candidates should apply online from 7th August 2021.The last date for registration of online applications is 21st August 2021.

✅ Age Limit:

✔️ Minimum 21 years and must not be above the age of 37 years as on the 1st day of January, 2021.

✔️ he/she must not have been born earlier than 2nd January 1984 & not later than 1st January 2000.

✔️ 05 years age relaxation for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Socially and Educationally Backward Classes, Women and Ex-servicemen and by cumulative ten (10) years for Persons With Disabilities whose permanent disability is Forty percent (40%) and more.

✅ Pay Scale: Pay Matrix of Level 12, Cell – 1 of ORSP Rules, 2017 with usual Dearness and Other Allowances.

✅ Educational Qualification:

✔️ MBBS Or equivalent Degree from a Medical College or Medical Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India.

✔️ Must have a valid Registration certificate under the Odisha Medical Regulation Rules 1961.

✔️ Must have required Conversion Certificate recognized by MCI.

✅ Selection Process:

✔️  Written Test Only (will be held at Cuttack / Bhubaneswar)

✅ Application Fee: The fee should be made through Online payment gateway on or before 10th August 2020.

✔️ ₹ 500/- for General / OBC category candidates.

✔️ No fee for SC, ST and Odisha and Persons with Disability (whose permanent disability is 40% or more) candidates.
