NIE Chennai Jobs 2020 for both fresher and experienced Indian Citizens. ICMR – National Institute of Epidemiology (NIE) Chennai invites applications from eligible Science Graduates for requirement of Project Technical Assistant (Senior Treatment Supervisor) under the project “India Hypertension Control Initiative (IHCI)” and Project Scientist – C (Medical/Non-Medical) (HTA-Resource Centre Coordinator) under the project “Health Technology Assessment Resource Centre”. The last date for receipt of applications is 10th August 2020.

✅ Age Limit: 40 years for Project Scientist; 30 years for Project Technical Assistant.

✅ Emoluments:

✔️ Project Technical Assistant: ₹ 31,000/- per month

✔️ Project Scientist: Medical – ₹ 64000/- per month, Non Medical – ₹  51000/- per month

✅ Educational Qualifications:

✔️ Project Technical Assistant: Graduate in Sociology / Social Work / Social Sciences / Statistics / Biostatistics/ Life Sciences from a recognized University with three years work experience in public health project / health care management from a recognized institution(OR) Master’s degree in Sociology / Social Work / Social Sciences / Statistics / Biostatistics/ Life Sciences/ Public Health / Epidemiology

✔️ Project Scientist:

(1) Medical Posts: Post Graduate degree in Preventive and Social Medicine / Public Health / Epidemiology / Economics / Public administration / Administration / Actuarial Science after MBBS with one year experience (OR) Post Graduate Diploma in above subjects after MBBS with two years’ experience(OR) MBBS degree recognized by MCI with four years’ experience in Public Health / Epidemiology / Economics / Public Administration / Health management medical subjects after MBBS degree.

(2) Non Medical Posts: 1st Class Master Degree in Economics/Health Economics / Econometrics/Actuarial Science/Public Health /Epidemiology/Public Administration/Health Care Management from a recognized institution / University with 4 years experience OR 2nd Class Master Degree in Life Science/ Health Economics / Public Health/ Epidemiology / Public Administration / Health Management / Actuarial Science from a recognized institution/University with PH.D with 4 years experience.

Selection Process: Written Test / Interview.
