Karnataka PSC Notification 2020 for 10th Pass 12th Pass, Diploma and ITI holders: Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) invites online applications for direct recruitment to Karnataka State Civil Services for Residual Parent Cadre and Hyderabad Karnataka Regional Cadre. The closing date for online application registration is June 1st, 2020.

✅  Age Limit: 18 to 35 years. The upper age 38 / 40 years for reserved category candidates.

✅  Pay Scale: ₹ 21400-500- 22400-550- 24600-600- 27000-650- 29600-750- 32600-850- 36000-950- 39800-1100- 42000/-

✅  Educational Qualification: 10th 12th (10+2) pass and Diploma or ITI in concerned subjects from a recognized university / Institute.

✅  Selection Process: Competitive Examination (Objective multiple choice type questions)

✔️The examination will consist of two written papers, namely, Paper-1: General English or General Kannada, Paper-2: General Knowledge

✔️ The maximum marks for each paper will be 100. The questions in both the papers will be “Objective Multiple Choice Type”. The duration for each paper will be 1½ hours.

✔️The paper on General English or General Kannada would usually reach the minimum required quality of a student who has passed the P.U.C. test. It is intended to test the knowledge of English / Kannada grammar , vocabulary, spelling, synonyms , antonyms of candidates, their ability to understand and understand English / Kannada language, and their ability to distinguish between correct and incorrect use, etc.

The candidates are required to choose either the General English paper or the General Kannada paper.

✔️ The paper on general knowledge will usually adhere to the minimum level of general knowledge required from a student who passed the P.U.C. examination and will cover questions on the Constitution of India, Indian History and Culture, General and Economic Geography of India, Current Events, Daily Science and subjects of daily study as anticipated from an educated pe.

✔️ For Category 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B:  ₹ 300/-

✔️ For Ex-Serviceman: ₹ 50/-
