✅ Educational Qualifications:

✔️ For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders –>

(1) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years/ semesters.

(2) Those studying in final year are also allowed to apply provided they have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in the first two/three years. Such students will need to secure overall aggregate of minimum 50% marks if selected in interview failing which their candidature will be cancelled.

(3) Service in NCC – Should have served for minimum two academic years in the senior Division/ Wing of NCC.

(4) Grading – Should have obtained minimum of ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC.

✔️ For Ward of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel –>

(1) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years/ semesters.

(2) NCC ‘C’ Certificate not required.

✅ Physical Standards:

(a) Height and Weight – The minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms with co-related weight and for women candidate is 152 cms and 42 Kg. In case of candidates belonging to the North East and Hilly Areas like Gorkhas, Nepalese, Assamese and Garhwalis, the height is relaxed by 5 cms and weight commensurate with reduced height. In case of candidates from Lakshadweep the minimum acceptable height is reduced by 2 cms.

(b) Visual Standards – For male candidate distance Vision (Corrected) better eye 6/6 and worse eye 6/18. Myopia should not be more than -3.5D and hypermetropia not more than +3.5D including Astigmatism.

✅ Selection Procedure:

(a) Shortlisting of Applications – Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) reserves the right to fix cutoff percentage of marks for shortlisting of applications, without assigning any reason. After shortlisting of applications, the Centre allotment will be intimated to the candidate via their email. After allotment of Selection Centre, candidates will have to log in to the website and select their SSB dates on a first come first served basis, upto a specified date, as notified on website.

(b) Only shortlisted eligible candidates will undergo SSB at Selection Centres, Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bangalore (Karnataka) and Kapurthala (PB). Call up letter for SSB interview will be issued by respective Selection Centre on candidates’ registered e-mail id and SMS only. Allotment of Selection Centre is at the discretion of Directorate General of Recruiting, IHQ of MoD (Army) and NO request for changes will be entertained in this regard.

(c) The two stage screening procedures will be extended to applicants. Those who do not pass Stage I are going to Stage II, and those who fail Stage I are going back to the same day. SSB Interviews are conducted over 5 days and information on them can be found on the official Indian Army website. A medical check-up for the candidates recommended after phase II will be followed.

(d) Candidates recommended by and declared medically fit by the SSB shall, depending on the number of vacancies available, be given a letter to accompany training on merit.

Application: Qualifying applicants can submit an application online through the Enter Indian Army Website. The closing date is 28/01/2021 until 2 pm for online registration.

Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has published recruitment advertisement of Combined Police Service Examination – 2019 for fill up 104 vacancy posts of Sub Inspector, Station Officer and Assistant Jailor. The last date for registration of online applications is 25th September 2020.

Odisha Police invites applications in the specified format from Police / Central Armed Police Force personnel who have retired to the rank of Police Constable / Havildar / ASI / SI or equivalent ranks as Special Police Officers (SPO) on a contractual basis to assist Police in lockdown duties for COVID-19 prevailing pandemics in the Odisha State.

↪ have no criminal case pending against him.

↪ not have more than one spouse living.

↪ not have suffered from co-morbidity.

Selection Process: Medical Test and Interview.

The candidates are required to submit the Self attested copies of certificates in support of age (if age not mentioned in service certificate), discharge certificate and Two pass port size self attested photograph along with their application form.

Age Limit: 21 to 25 as of 1 January 2018. Age relaxation 05 years for candidates from SEBC, SC , ST and all women, 10 years for PWD.

Pay Scale: ₹ 9300 – 34800 with Grade Pay ₹ 4200/- (Pre revised)

Eligibility:

(1) The candidates must have possessed Bachelors Degree (Graduate) in any discipline for Sub Inspector posts; A Science or Engineering Graduate for Station Officer posts .

(2) Knowledge in Odia – He shall be able to speak, read and write odia and must have passed.

(3) Marital Status – A Candidates if married must not have more than one spouse living.

(4) Physical Fitness – A Candidate must be of good mental condition, healthy and free from any physical defect.

Test fee: A non-refundable fee of about 200/- for candidates in the categories General and OBC. No charge for candidates from groups SC and ST. The fee should be charged online by payment process.

Selection process: Preliminary review / Physical examination / Key Written exam / Viva cum Psychological testing.
