About UPSSSC PET Notification :
Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) will conduct Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) for the recruitment of Group C & Various Other posts. The Exam Will be Conducted Two Times in a Year. Application Process Will be Online. Candidates Can Check More Details from Below…….

Candidates who applied online will be called for examination. The dates of examination will be notified soon.

Selection Process :
- Written Exam (Pre & Mains)
Primary Eligibility Test Pattern :
Exam Pattern for the Written Exam is as Follows:-
- Exam Will be Offline Objective Type.
- The Preliminary Exam Will be of 100 Marks / Questions.
- The Time Duration of Pre Exam Will be 02 Hrs. (120 Minutes).
- Questions Standard of Pre Exam Will be Intermediate Level.
- There Will be a Negative Marking of 0.25 (1/4) Marks.
- In this, questions based on general knowledge and science, Hindi and unread passage based questions, elementary mathematics, logical ability, analysis of statistics and graphs will be asked.
- परीक्षा ऑफ़लाइन प्रकार होगी।
- प्रारंभिक परीक्षा 100 अंकों / प्रश्नों की होगी।
- प्रारंभिक परीक्षा का समय अवधि 02 घंटे होगा। (120 मिनट)।
- प्रारंभिक परीक्षा के मानक इंटरमीडिएट स्तर के होंगे।
- 0.25 (1/4) मार्क्स का एक नकारात्मक अंकन होगा।
- इसमे सामान्य ज्ञान एवं विज्ञान, सांय हिंदी एवं अपठित गद्यांश आधारित प्रश्न, प्रारंभिक गणित, तार्किक योग्यता, आंकड़े एवं ग्राफ के विश्लेषण पर आधारित प्रश्न पूछे जायेंगे।

Exam Syllabus :
Exam Syllabus for Examination is given below :-
General Knowledge –
This part of question paper is to assess the candidates’ ability regarding general knowledge about his/her surroundings and about its use in society. In this test such a question which will be kept to check current events and everyday science and the facts of experience which may include historical and geographical facts. (Specially Related to India) and judged them to the knowledge of the scientific aspects, which can be expected of any educated person.
Science –
The questions of science (biology, chemical physics) will be based on general understanding and knowledge of science including topics related to daily experience and observation, which can be expected from any well-educated person who has not done special study of scientific subjects in India. The role of science and technology in the development and innovation of a balanced diet, the importance of the ability to be from a calorie distortion adult, can be considered as possible to burn, in the form of an ascetic, mental fertilizer, etc.
Hindi –
हिंदी वर्णमाला, विराम चिन्ह, शब्द रचना, वाक्य रचना, अर्थ, शब्द-रूप, संधि, समास, क्रियाएँ, अनेकार्थी शब्द, विलोम शब्द, पर्यायवाची शब्द, मुहावरे एवं लोकोक्तियाँ, तत्सम एवं तद्भव, देशज, विदेशी (शब्द भंडार), वर्तनी, अर्थबोध, हिंदी भाषा के प्रयोग में होने वाली अशुद्धियाँ, उ.प्र. की मुख्य बोलियाँ
Unread Passage Based Questions –
Questions Related to the Given Unseen Passages.
Elementary Mathematics –
- Arithmetic & Statistics : Number System, Percentage, Profit Loss, Statistics, Classification of Facts, Frequency, Frequency Distribution, tabulation, Cumulative Frequency. Formulation of Facts, Bar Chart, Pie Chart, Histogram, Frequency Polygon, Central measurement : Parallel Mean, Median & Mode.
- Algebra : LCM & HCF, Relation between LCM & HCF, Simultaneous equations, Quadratic Equations, Factors, Area theorem.
- Geometry : Triangle & Pythagoras Theorem, Rectangle, Square, Trapezium, The perimeter & Area of the parallelogram, The perimeter & Area of Circle.
Logical Ability –
The purpose of this is the ability to test the candidate’s understanding of a new situation, analyze and identify its various elements. Questions in this test will be based on the Understanding and explore instructions, relationships, similarities, consistent, conclusions and actions etc.
Analysis of Statistics and Graphs –
The purpose of this is the ability to test the candidate’s understanding of Analysis of Statistics and Graphs.
